FAQ

Is my financial data uploaded to a server?
No. Your assets, snapshots, and all financial data are stored locally on your device (SwiftData) and never leave it. Our servers only provide public data — stock prices, exchange rates, and symbol search — plus authentication. They have no visibility into your holdings.
Which markets and asset types are supported?
Live prices are available for A-shares (Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing exchanges and exchange-traded funds), Hong Kong stocks, US equities, crypto, and open-end funds (including QDII, with NAV fetched automatically). Wert covers 13 asset categories: cash, equities, real estate, insurance, pension, digital assets, liabilities, and more — all multi-currency, consolidated in your base currency (CNY or other).
How does AI screenshot import work, and are my screenshots uploaded?
Screenshot the holdings page in your brokerage app, and Wert reads it into accounts right on your iPhone. The screenshot itself never leaves your device or touches our servers; only the recognized ticker symbols are sent to our search to match them to standard codes. Longbridge, Futu, and Alipay funds are supported today. Quantities and cost basis are pre-filled, and nothing is saved until you review and confirm each row. Your first import is free; Pro unlocks unlimited imports, so you can refresh your holdings by screenshot at every check-in.
Is Wert free?
Core features are free, including periodic snapshots, history, and multi-market prices. Upgrading to Pro unlocks all advanced features — holdings look-through, encrypted WebDAV backup, unlimited accounts, a real-growth-vs-currency breakdown, and the FIRE retirement simulator. Pro comes as a monthly or annual subscription (cancel anytime), or a one-time lifetime purchase — all through Apple in-app purchase.
How do I delete my account?
Open Wert → Settings → Account → Delete Account. After confirmation, your server-side account data, subscription records, and quota are permanently removed. Local financial data on your device is removed when you uninstall the app or clear it manually. See details below.
How do I contact you?

Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly within the Wert app: open the App → Settings → Account → Delete Account, then confirm.

After deletion, all server-side data linked to your account — including login credentials, Pro subscription records, and API quota — will be permanently erased and cannot be recovered.

Financial data stored locally on your device (asset accounts, snapshot history, etc.) is not affected by server-side account deletion. It will be removed when you uninstall the app or clear your data manually within the app.
